In honor of Mamma Kat's Writer's Workshop I am taking on Prompt #1:
- I used to think…
- … that people only like you for what you are.
- … that people couldn't like me for who I am.
- … that people only know you if there's something in it for them.
- … that I would never be married— but am proud to say I will be for 10 years come September.
- … that I would never have any followers— boy was I wrong.
- … that I could never write "off the cuff"— but now realize that I can do so with ease.
- … that my personal philosophy was unique— now I know that it is just described differently.
- … that I couldn't come up with enough stuff to make this post interesting to read.
- … that I was right— now I'm not so sure about anything.
- … now I just do.

I like your take on "I used to think.."
Lots of insight in the first three.
Got me thinking. Hmmmm.
Funny, your reaction to my post today because it's been talked about on talk radio here and we all think the guard was fine but the dude driving through was an idiot. How can you REFUSE to get stop your car and get out of it? That's what us Canadians are wondering.
I think you did a very nice job....and you got me thinking too.
As a general rule I try not to think. I'm afraid of what I might come up with.
You started off really thoughtful, did you have a lot on your mind?
I like it my friend. Once again we get to peel back more layers of the Ca-Joh onion.
I used to think too, then I had kids.
I love this prompt! It really has made me very reflective! Thanks for sharing!
Great job with this prompt. I really like how reflective you were.
Great post, I like the "I used to think" theme!
Good thoughts. I feel the same on all of them
